Pumpkinhead (1988) | Horror at the Hiway

Our Horror at the Hiway series continues this October with PUMPKINHEAD on 35mm! Our friends from Human Robot Jenkintown will join us in the lobby to sell beer during the show and your stub will score you $5 drafts next door all night! Tickets are available now at hiwaytheater.org/horror

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: In legendary special effects artist and four-time Academy Award winner Stan Winston’s directorial debut, Lance Henriksen plays Ed, a father whose son is killed in a hit-and-run accident. Ed does whatever is necessary to get revenge on those who killed his son including summoning the demon Pumpkinhead to assist him in doing so! Filled with inventive effects and visually stunning camerawork, PUMPKINHEAD has gained a cult following over the years – having spawned a few sequels, a comic book series, and even a song by The Misfits!

We are operating with a single projector. This special 35mm screening will be presented with a short intermission to take a break, grab a beer, and accommodate a reel change.
